January Arrives – A Moderator’s Reflection

With just a week to go until the URC Youth Assembly 2015, excitement is running high amongst FAB as we can’t wait to see you all in Staffordshire.

Though as we count down the days, I begin to reflect on the past year as Moderator, and how honoured I have been to represent the young people of the URC. During the course of the year I have been to 4 FURY Advisory Board meetings, 3 Children and Youth Work Committee meetings, 2 Mission Councils, 1 General Assembly, and a number of other events and meetings. Not only have I been representing the young people, I have been networking with a large variety of people, and sharing the work of the Youth Assembly. I have too many highlights from the past year to share with you here, but I will spend some time sharing my stories with you at URCYA 2015.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see so many young people from across Wales, Scotland, and England gather together to discuss topics and issues that they are passionate about within the URC. This year promises to be bigger and better than before, so I hope you all remember to pack you running kit, your ceilidh kit and most importantly your towel!

God bless and see you all soon,

FURY Moderator
