What is URC Youth?

The URC Youth is the collective term for every young person aged 11-25 who is associated with the United Reformed Church in some way. This includes those who attend church on a Sunday morning, those who attend Pilots, Boys’ Brigade, Girls’ Brigade, Guides, Scouts or a midweek youth group – and more. Everyone who has a connection with the United Reformed Church is included!

The URC Youth has an annual Youth Assembly, during which young people from all over the 3 nations of the URC to discuss issues relevant in the world today, worship together as a community, learn about the life of Jesus and make business decisions- including the election of new members of URC Youth Executive.

The URC Youth’s mission statement is this:

‘To discover God, to help each other grow in the Christian faith and, through our lives, reflect God’s love to all.’
